Bliss Pasadena Day Program Take Their Second Annual Fair Trip

For the LA County Fair Food Drive, the fair allows free entry twice a year in exchange for five canned food items per individual. Staff at the Bliss Pasadena Day Program participated in this event for the second year, bringing enough cans of food to provide entry for all the Day Program Participants as well.

The Day Program residents enjoyed the opportunity to experience the thrill of the State Fair. In addition to appreciating being out in a community setting, participants loved trying all the different fair foods. They took their best shot at fair games, even winning some prizes!

After touring the different exhibits, a few of the more adventurous members of the group rode the log ride, and got completely soaked. All in all, it was a wonderful experience for both staff and program participants, and we can’t wait until next year!
